He visited MUSA salt museums and the saltworks plant of Cervia
Antonio Misiani, Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, visited Cervia on Wednesday 22 January accompanied by the President of the Province Michele De Pascale.
The Under Secretary of State was welcomed by the mayor Massimo Medri and by the town Council. Together they visited the MUSA salt museum and the salt pan of Cervia.
Misiani proved to be very interested in Cervia. He appreciated the important work of recovery and enhancement of culture connected with salt production carried out to date and proved interested and willing to follow and support the continuation of the development and re-evaluation of the salt pan area. A development linked to the soon-to-expire concession of the area, which, if renewed for a period of 50 years, would allow the Administration to carry out an important work of recovery and development, including for the buildings on the 827 hectares of wetland: a very important historical-cultural heritage to protect and re-evaluate.
