MUSA meets the traditional sailing boats of Cervia
Tuesday 3rd, 17th, 24th and 31st August, at 9 pm
On Tuesdays in August (3, 17, 24, 31), to complement the photographic exhibition of the Mariegola, MUSA meets the traditional sailing boats of Cervia. You will thus be able to discover the symbolism of the sails, while the tales of the sailors will make you transport your imagination to past eras and places of other times.
The initiative will be enriched with Workshops for children to paint the sails with the typical "ochre" colors obtained from the land and elements of nature.
The sailors will guide you during the visit to discover the sea culture made up of traditions, symbols, languages, idioms, but also stories and legends related to seafaring life such as episodes of miraculous fishing and terrible shipwrecks.
From 1 to 31 August the exhibition "Cerva in the Mariegola delle Romagne: LugSails of the old sailing boats" continues, an ancient fleet of the Adriatic, which includes historic boats saved from demolition or abandonment.
