Guided tours at Camillone salt pan

From 12 June to 15 September, every Thursday and Sunday at 5.00 pm

A salt worker will accompany visitors to the ancient Camillone Salt Pan, an open-air section and an integral part of MUSA, the last remaining of the approximately 150 existing before the transformation of the 1950s.

The salt workers will explain and show the various stages of work in the salt pan that lead to the production of the “sweet” salt of Cervia, a Slow Food presidium since 2004.

Appointment at 4.30 pm at the car park at the Saline Visitor Center in via Bova 61. A salt worker will accompany the visitors to the Camillone salt pan.
