Guided tour at the Camillone Salt Pan
Objectives
Spread the knowledge of the salt civilisation and salt processing with the ancient artisan method. Spread the history of the salt pan and the Cervia salt civilisation.
The activity
From 15th June, guided tour of the Camillone salt pan, the only one remaining of the ancient artisan salt pans of Cervia. The salt workers of the Gruppo Culturale Civiltà Salinara explain the salt production process with a practical demonstration of the various stages.
